The misnomer, Rocky Mountain Bee Plant, is actually found across most of the Northwest…but it DOES attract bees well despite the mountain confusion. Bee plant is an annual that can reach up to 5 feet tall, and thrives in sunny, dry, rocky areas. It will reseed itself if planted in the right conditions. Bee plant is also an excellent native pollinator attractor, and has been known to be excellent honey bee forage that produces loads of honey with a high sugar content.
