Western Cascade Wildflower Mix
The West Cascade Wildflower Mix is an all-flower mix of annuals and perennials that are native to the Northwest region of the United States. Note that most perennials will not bloom in the first year that they are planted from seed. Typically, perennials will establish a plant during the first year and then will bloom in the second and subsequent years. You may not see all of these flower species bloom during the first year that they are planted.
On a site of bare and loose soil, that will provide optimal seed-to-soil contact, a broadcast seeding rate of 9 lb./acre may be used. If very little site preparation has been done (i.e. only scratching the surface of the soil and existing vegetation is present), then use the doubled rate of 18 lb./acre.
Ingredients: Baby Blue Eyes, Black-Eyed Susan, Camas – Common, Coreopsis – Plains Tall, Gilia – Globe, Heal-All, Phlox – Large Flowered, Lupine – Small Flowered Bi-Color, Lupine – Riverbank, Rose Checker Mallow, Sea Blush, Buttercup – Straitbeak, Hollyhock – Tall Wild, Tidy Tips, Buttercup – Western, Yarrow – Western, Godetia – Farewell to Spring, Poppy – California Perennial, Clarkia – Diamond, Clarkia – Pink Fairies, Clarkia – Winecup, Oregon Sunshine, Vetch – Big Deer, Primrose – Dense Spike
